Welcome to Kapiti Day Hospital, specially built to care for patients closer to where they live.
We opened in July 2023.
Kapiti Day Hospital cares for patients having specialist procedures that don’t require an overnight stay, like endoscopy and cataract surgery. We ensure that patients are superbly cared for from the moment they arrive until the moment they go home.

Kapiti Day Hospital is fully equipped with two new operating theatres with the latest equipment for eye surgery and endoscopy procedures. Our superbly appointed recovery facilities are comfortable and quiet, and fully staffed with expert nurses to ensure that all the patient’s needs are looked after until they are ready to go home.
