Can I accompany or visit a patient?

Each patient can have only one visitor to accompany them while at Kapiti Day Hospital. The patient may have had a sedative or general anaesthetic, and must be driven home.

Visitors are welcome to wait in our comfortable reception area. Visitors aren’t permitted to be present during the procedures, or the recovery period.

Visitors can use our free guest wi-fi.

Yes, parking is free, and there is plenty available.

Can I bring an animal?

Sorry, no animals are allowed in the hospital for health and safety reasons.

Is there disabled access?

Yes, the hospital is fully accessible, with a ramp for wheelchairs, and disabled toilet facilities.
